Since I already have, y'know, four different blogs with themes, why not throw another into the mix?
I'll make this quick, because I'm very tired. The gist of it is this: I found an awesome book at the library today. It was a collection of photographs from a collaborative photo blog between two women, one living in Portland, Oregon and one living in Portland, Maine (I believe Maine?). Anyway, the premise of the blog was this: they had never met except for online, and they both liked getting up early, so they would each post one picture to the blog every day for a year taken before noon that day.
It's a fantastic book, I fall in love with the idea and the pictures more every time I look at it. Some of them are so interesting, and sometimes they're so similar without any sort of coordination. The book is well put together and beautiful, and there's so much that it says without any text.
So, I was thinking I'd like to do something similar. I can't do mornings, since I'm too busy and up too early for dawn light, and sometimes I won't even be able to do afternoons, depending on when I work. But whenever I can, I'd like to create a blog that speaks not through words, but through photography.
Anyway, that's my new idea. I'll probably create the blog tomorrow and pimp it and all that great stuff. :)
In parting, I give you a song by my favorite band of the moment, The Hush Sound. This is one of their slower songs (they have a very diverse range of style), and I love it for the haunting, simple melody and the beautiful story it tells. I highly encourage you to listen to the words, because they are poetic and beautiful and tell such a wonderful story. I especially love the way they end it.
Lighthouse- The Hush Sound
EDIT- because I'm too lazy to retype. Youtube has no recordings of Lighthouse except peoples' covers, so I made a playlist of The Hush Sound instead, with Lighthouse first. I highly encourage you to listen on after that. They're a fantastic group.

The Christmas Story
As depicted by Meg and Dia.
They sat through the night
In an empty apartment
Three older gentlemen came inside
And they brought wine and cards and chocolate
And Joey smoked on a cigar and came back in
So you think he’s something special do you men?
He is no one
He is a stranger I met on the street
He stared through hard, cold insolent eyes
Turned his gaze with her
Fear hidden quite secure under blank features
Protruding middle she sat unashamed
She read his judgment on his concerned face
With slight sarcasm he addressed her case
Is it too much to ask to know about your lover’s name?
He is no one
He is a stranger I met on the street
He never touched me
You’re all I need
And will ever need
But his eyes won’t be almond like yours nor blue like mine
With all the sins of the world in the iris
There’s no false blood
But you will love him
He’s from Gold Gardens
Our help before Atlas was ever born, alright
He is no one
He is no one
Stranger I met on the street
He never touched me
You’re all I need
And will ever need
He is no one
He is no one
Stranger I met on the street
They sat through the night
I'm too lazy to write anything lately. :P Even Phased suffers.
