Weird stuff that happened today:
1) I asked my mom for a couple dollars for the vending machines at school so that I could get a bottle of water, since we were out at home. I was surprised when I saw she'd given me a twenty. So I went to the school store to get a $1 bottle of water, and suddenly I realized it wasn't a 20, it was a 50! The kid at the register was like, "Um... I don't think I have change in my drawer for a fifty. But you can leave it in the tip jar." Naturally. I didn't. I went to the office and paid a couple fees to get change, then got my bottle of water. And bought lunch with it, too. XD
2) Lauren and Daryl came over from Itineris, math and science pre-college school, to have lunch with us. <3
3) I actually understood most of my math. And I need to do some stuff before the test on Friday.
4) During math, I received two text messages from the same person:
#1 read: "So are you eating anyone right now?"
#2 read: "So are you dating anyone right now?"
XD Poor guy.
5) At work I did an express shipment to India. It was a burned DVD, and it cost about $85 to ship.
6) Last night I went straight to dinner with my mom, sister, and sister's boyfriend. Afterward, they took me back to work to pick up my car. They were shocked and frightened by how empty, dark, and scary the big parking lot is. And I park in the darkest corner. My sister vowed that she'd bring me some mace to carry with me in the parking lot. The funny thing about this? Today she came to my work, and she actually did. I have a can of "self-defense spray" in a camo colored holster now. XD
Anywho. That's a summary of my day. I didn't feel like trying to formulate it into cohesive paragraphs. :P

Haha. I'm glad to know you'll be safe from predators and criminals of all sorts now. Well, at least the kind that have eyes... I guess what you really need to watch out for now is blind bad guys. Hmm.
I wonder what that India DVD was about? I'm inclined to think it might be a present for a missionary or something... or it could be a bootlegged movie. Meh.
PS: as a response to the comment you left me:
Actually, I was watching an episode of Chuck the other day, and this girl gets kidnapped and the bad guy wants Chuck to meet him at an opera house with a certain flash drive to exchange for the girl. It's funny because I had just written a scene where the same sort of thing happens--girl gets kidnapped, bad guy wants something in return. I paid special attention to how they did it in the show, and I was pleased to see that the way I did it was probably pretty believable, despite the fantasy elements.
So yeah, I agree with you on the television-as-inspiration thing :D
I'm going to try to find you on Facebook now. I'm not super-active on there but I do check it every once in a while.
